The Blade ALU 4500 & 6000 includes 5 plus 1 HPCR™ ball bearings. HPCR™ stands for “high performance corrosion resistant.” HPCR™ bearings are well-liked for their dependability and strength. Made in Germany, HPCR™ bearings are processed from a rust resistant substance, and not, like bearing on other reels in its class , simply coated with a corrosion resistant substance that can fade away. The end result ? Well, I have learned that reels with HPCR™ bearings can endure a much more traumastrain. Furthermore, these reels have better dry-running action at increased RPM rates, a characteristic I actually welcome .
